Good start

Last night I (Steve) couldn't sleep well because of the time change, but loved listening to the breathing of Misgana.  Vicki and I find ourselves pinching ourselves to make sure this is real.  I would use the word surreal but it is over used and my brother in law might tell me I'm using it incorrectly.  :)

Misgana woke up smiling today.  She also spoke to us.  She is a beautiful little lady!

She enjoys the goodies we brought her and she is looking at the pictures of our kids, family, and home.

Today we met all the Bethany staff at their new office.  Amazing people - so generous.

We then got pizza and pasta - which was great and then did a little shopping.

Tomorrow is our Embassy Date so be praying that it goes smoothly.

Over all she is opening up and stretching her freedom - we are trying to keep up.

Not a lot of energy to write so I'll just say we are doing well - thanks again to all of you and lots of love!

Steve, Vicki, and Misgana Deur

PS - special love to our kiddos and family!

We're so glad things are going well, even though you're finding it difficult to sleep. It's a blessing for you and Vic to be able to have this time Misgana...building special memories already. She will love the cottage next year. Kids are enjoying the cottage even thought the temps - water and air - have been lower. Aitche has become an accomplished kayaker, Autumn caught a lunker blue gill (7") and screamed for 30 seconds out of excitement? Aubs and H spent some time jumping off the raft yesterday. Aubs has been sleeping with Sav since we got here. Special. I believe H will be switching with her tonight and doing a sleepover with the Fry's. We'll see. The kids are loving Griff and often smother him with kisses and love. :) Moomers last night with Will using a spoon to eat his ice cream cone. Interesting to watch...Will wanted to order Spidey, Superman or Batman ice cream. They had none, so he settled for Vanilla. Mom is serving us as usual. She's amazing. Keep us up-to-date as you can.
Love you!

Hi Steve, Vic and Misgana!
The kids all want to deliver a cottage stories to you.

Savannah: "I walked into Arizona by mistake. I call it the 'grandma cottage.' I was a bit embarrased and told them, 'I am so sorry.' They told me that it was okay and then showed me the door. I went fishing with Aubs and Papa. my fishing pole is so cool. It's a Barbie 'light-up' spinning rod and Papa had it rigged to catch big fish. We miss you and want to meet Misgana soon! Love you!

Aubs: Dad, I'm wondering what Misgana said when she woke up. I miss you guys and can't wait to see Misgana. I'm having so much fun. Papa took me and Sav fishing in the boat on Sunday night. I caught a fish and Papa helped me pull it in because it was so big. It must have been 6" or more. When Papa tried to take my picture with the fish, I couldn't stop screaming. They could hear me across the lake!
I'm going with the ladies to Glen Arbor this morning. Keep telling us how Misgana is doing. Love you!

Will the Thrill" "Hi Mommy and Daddy. I'm having fun at the cottage. Aunt Cheechie bought me a motorcycle with rider toy. I played a new shuffleboard type game using my Mummite and getting a score after throwing it on some squares.

Aitche: Hi Dad and Mom! I had a huge ice cream cone last night at Moomers! Can't wait to see Misgana!
