Love is patient...

We have to keep remembering that, as 1 Corinthians 13 tells us, "love is patient."

We'd love to rush love - push it - pull it - force it - and put it on our time table.

But, love is patient.

So we learn more about love by learning to be patient.

The wait for a match with a child may be a blessing that will prepare us for God's plan. So we wait and pray to grow more into the likeness of Jesus.

Isaiah 40:30-31
"Though youths grow weary and tired,
And vigorous young men stumble badly,
Yet those who wait for the LORD
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary."

But, it still is hard. :)
